      Working for Symbotic is a complete disappointment, management failed in all aspects of leadership.

      Pros

      The company has a great product, and a very interesting subject matter. Most employees are great to work with, and provide helpful assistance.

      Cons

      Management does not understand how to properly set goals and manage project milestones. Political infighting makes top-down leadership almost impossible. Factions within the company are too busy working to sabotage progress to promote their own agendas. The respect among upper management is non-existent, this filters down to sub-ordinates and creates an unhealthy work environment.

      Interesting projects, however upper managment fails to lead company in the proper direction...

      Pros

      Good group of people to work with, depending on which department you're in. Interesting projects regarding robotics. Location isn't bad for most people.

      Cons

      The company offers an extremely poor healthcare package. The plans are expensive and coverage isn't sufficient in most situations. Performance reviews and raises are laughable at best, with the majority of employees receiving "excellent" ratings and rewarded with 2% salary increases. The major downsides are inexperienced and sub-par employees which hinder overall progress with ongoing projects. Upper management fails to focus and lead the company in the proper direction. There is little acknowledgment for employee efforts and salary ranges are below industry averages.

      Interesting work but not a great place for upward mobility

      Pros

      We get to work on a very interesting and difficult project involving robots. Most people are enjoyable to work with.

      Cons

      The management team is basically hand-selected by the CEO, all coming from the same past company. As a result, there is little upward mobility.
