I've been at Synack for nearly two years, and it is genuinely one of the best jobs I have had in my career. Synack has such a fantastic culture of learning and recognition, and there is a really strong sense of community amongst colleagues. You feel enabled and empowered to do your best work, you're encouraged to try new ideas, and you really feel like you belong. The team are bright, enthusiastic and hard working in equal measure - a true joy to be part of. It is really a privilege to be on the journey with Synack.

Cons

It is hard sometimes working remotely, but everyone tries hard to meet up in person as much as possible.

Best company I have ever worked for in an interesting industry. -Welcoming atmosphere, from the onboarding process to the employees -Continuous Improvement: People are always looking to improve the internal and external experience and coming up with solutions and plans to make things happen. -Regular management feedback, letting employees know what is going on, what's in the pipeline, any challenges or opportunities. -Good compensation package. -Progression opportunities. -Fully remote. -Good product offering...

Cons

-...while the products are good, they are not perfect. There are still ways that it can be improved all around - but the company is young and the same can be said for most companies/products. So not strictly a con but more of an observation. -A big part of the issues that people across the company experience stem from the customer side, such as making sure Synack personel and the SRT have the relevant access, permissions, quick channels of communication etc. This can be frustrating as no matter how hard people work and prepare, how good the product is, a test can still run badly with complaints from the customer. It can feel disheartening that a big part of the success will always be out of your hands. Again, not directly a con but something to be aware of given the business model.
