Pros

My TEAM, my Scrum Master. Not often, do you find people who ALWAYS have your back.

Cons

Everything else. After reading the these reviews and the fake ones, it seems there is a simple solution to Synergy’s problems: 1. Employ better management instead of getting rid of good employees 2. Get rid of people with no integrity 3. CEO should look at his management team in order to elevate the company and programs 4.Get organized. Communicate effectively (like this!) 5.Pay people for what they do. 6. Create a bonus structure that is attainable. It’s difficult to get certifications for a company when they demand that you do it on your own time, but work you so much that you can’t do it. 7. Don’t lie, avoid and terminate Funny, my new job, similar responsibility (minus the four other jobs that I wasn’t paid to do), pays $40k more a year. Synergy has the potential to be a great company. However, they are lacking the management knowledge necessary to attain that status. And for those with morals, values and ethics, this is not the company for you. Last bit of advice, watch your back.

Pros

Pay seems fair for people with different roles and professional fields, with regular benefits but nothing special.

Cons

Some of the Project Managers and Senior Program Managers have no professional values. No interest in communicating with employees to discover what happens when a professional discrepancy occurs, which is something very typical and expected within a collaborative team environment. That person will refuse to meet with you, saying they have no time because he is swamped, except to make you know you will be laid off. They take it personally and act like true tyrants, an attitude I've never experienced, totally childish, and zero demonstration of professional maturity. They will close the doors to other possibilities, be it in other projects, departments, or even companies; their attitude resembles actions like a sect, "you are with me or against me.". It is inadmissible for a professional to be in a work environment where managers must ensure the efficiency and quality of what their teams propose and do; in turn, they will dedicate efforts to undermining your future work without giving a genuine and honest version of their decisions. You will feel overwhelmed by their actions and the lack of support and start feeling stressed out and desiring to get out of that team as soon as possible. The worst part is practices of exclusion due to racial and cultural nature, the tendency to discriminate, mocking different cultures, and misogynistic and personal denigration jokes. If you say something to the internal departments about those actions, they will tell you that they will investigate and dig into those problems, but they are also part of the same team, so don't expect anything from them! It's all a fake. Avoid working at this company if you can; there are thousands of better opportunities. This company is not interested in retaining most of its employees, even when they have proven successful and competent. If you are in another company that is acquired or in some professional relationship with them, be careful if they propose to move to your payroll and direct contract; in less than a month, they will notify you that they will let you go, they do not care about the effect they will cause before the staff that at the moment is seen in a situation of term, without explanations beyond informing that there is no more work for you.

Pros

I can't think of one

Cons

Demanded Covid vaccine for a remote only role. Does not give feedback, just fires those they don't work well with. Webcam is mandatory for remote meetings along with "dress code" for the daily standup meetings. Pay is some of the most hostile I have ever experienced a salaried position to be, Biweekly on a 1 week delay, so if you join on the 1st you don't get paid until the 21st which is super penalizing for job hoppers. Underpaid lowball offer. IT when onboarding messed up every single detail. Rather than look at google maps they chose to call me because UPS didn't like my address given. Then they were confused and stupid about me clarifying the address compared to what UPS says, as though I don't know where I live. Then the workstation setup was a mess as well with confusion and anger from the support agent (Same guy) about installing needed apps. Supposedly was going to sponsor a clearance. Never saw any forms. Had a task. Was given no clarification or documentation or deadlines for this. Managers are disconnected, overworked and cryptic.
