Pros

Can offer a wide variety of tasks and opportunities to learn new methodologies. People are very nice and competent, the company itself is very solid and with great work ethics.

Cons

Big semiconductor names have lot of power at times in driving the development causing frequent changes in schedule and priorities. Lot of contractors hired recently and given major tasks, the ones you would expect the permanent employees to take ownership of.

The people are smart, the company takes great efforts to build a good work environment. Time-off policy is good.

Cons

There is a painful resistance to technical change and some of the tools and infrastructure has a very 90s feel to it.
