Pros

Very good benefits Comfortable work environment Company direction is to provide partnerships, less focus on cold vendor relationships Coming from the recent acquired company, this organization is like a breath of fresh air. I had to laugh a little bit after reading some negative reviews because they are current employees. If it is that bad, why are you still there? Do you not understand that people do not take "negative-current employees" seriously? You do not know how good you have it and the opportunities to shine that you have in front of you!

Cons

Communication could be better. I am a bit surprised by the lack of communication. Town hall meetings are always helpful.

"Stop focusing on the negative!" - Sounds about right...

Pros

-There are good people there, just not many. -401K matching. -Snacks are free. -The building does not leak.

Cons

-99% of the management would rather not "focus on the negative" and press on with their eyes closed. People complaining about an issue? Lets get mad at you for bringing it up and ignore it. -Unrealistic goals for the clients we support. Synoptek thinks it is still only supporting two to three clients, not the hundreds we have now. -Lies must be told to the client otherwise management gets mad at everyone for *gasp* telling the truth. -Management expects you to respond to them instantly over chat, but good luck getting a response from them if you need assistance. You would be more productive writing a letter to them. -If you see anyone from management, they are normally in a meeting lying to a customer about how we can do absolutely anything for them. -Multiple monitoring tools, multiple ticketing systems, multiple chat systems, multiple everything. There is no consolidation here at all. -"Did you check the wiki?" is the go to answer for "I won't help you."

Pros

benefits are decent and there are some really nice employees

Cons

Management to start off with is just horrible. They are difficult to get a hold of when issues arise, they fail to provide the employees adequate tools to get the job done. Insanely unrealistic expectations on how to service the clients needs. Instead of addressing the issues that are causing the service failures they simply sweep it under the rug or lie to the customer to give them a false sense that whatever failure occurred will not happen again and surely it happens again because they fail to address it. Its more like they form a click with each other and just do the bare minimum to appear they have some sort of value. Client delivery is just as bad, set up new accounts to be serviced without taking proper inventory and just pass it off to support groups to figure it all out when the client calls for emergency service. Leaving the customer possibly down for a longer period of time than what could have been most likely a routine support scenario. Recent surveys showed 60% of employees viewing their job negatively that's somewhat more than a handful. Not even sure what a Kegerator is but never seen one. Culture needs some definite improvement not the greatest environment.
