      ITAR is fading

      Pros

      Synoptek was an alright place to work. I was just put on a team supporting a customer with ITAR technicians, and that customer renewed with less expensive terms. I should have been simply moved to a different team, but the lack of work performance from being drowned out by the low volume customer got me laid off. It was a bummer of a way to go after so many years of service.

      Cons

      Management does not listen to feedback.

      Pros

      Synoptek is full of people who genuinely care about our customers and about each other. I have worked here for two years and am surrounded by dedicated and talented teammates who want to learn, want to continuously improve, and want to deliver strong results. I see the company and leadership taking steps to listen to (and act on) employee feedback and that matters greatly to me. Synoptek is a great place for those who want to be challenged, grow their career, and make a difference!

      Cons

      No company is perfect and there are areas we can improve, but I see steps being taken in the right direction.
