      Started out great, ended with over-worked cog

      Pros

      Some great individuals working to make the customer successful and helping others. I wish they were more empowered.

      Cons

      Lack of basic process, and collaboration. You are on your own. Some of the practice lead only care about their bottom-line (vs their reports or the success of the group), with imaginative spins. One hears "I" a lot, when clearly it was others that did the work. No work-life balance. HR is NOT there for the employee. Using "unlimited vacation" as a way for you to work more, and not have accrued carry-over vacation on the books. Requiring annual NDA does NOT speak much to employee trust. Turn-over is high.

      Pros

      Synoptek is full of people who genuinely care about our customers and about each other. I have worked here for two years and am surrounded by dedicated and talented teammates who want to learn, want to continuously improve, and want to deliver strong results. I see the company and leadership taking steps to listen to (and act on) employee feedback and that matters greatly to me. Synoptek is a great place for those who want to be challenged, grow their career, and make a difference!

      Cons

      No company is perfect and there are areas we can improve, but I see steps being taken in the right direction.
