Pros

Synoptek creates an atmosphere of technological innovation. For the past 3 years, I have worked with this company, supported by the many dynamic relationships with the people around me. I like the culture and we are continuously improving. If you are someone who enjoys challenges, Synoptek could be a good place for you. While the work is difficult, there is always someone who is more than happy to help you to get the job done.

Cons

There can be times of miscommunication or limited communication, but overall there are individuals who support me and create an environment where I am not afraid to ask questions.

Pros

You get to work with some amazingly talented people who care about the work they do. If you are self motivated and looking for experience, this is the company that will provide you a great business education.

Cons

Too many "not my job" employees. Executive Management is not acting on what the employees are identifying as problems.

Pros

Synoptek is a very entrepreneurial firm that allows a great deal of flexibility and ability to grow. There is an ability to grow and learn new technologies but you do have to be driven. This isn't the army who will guide your every step. The vision the company has is spot on for the future, and a there is a great deal of innovation to move forward.

Cons

Due to acquisitions there has been struggle with integration and cultures. Leadership could provide better oversight and actual leadership. Heroic efforts are not sustainable at any level. Sometimes it is hard to wait for change to occur, and it seems it often takes far too long for a company our size. It is often strange to be bigger than a startup and smaller than a fortune 500, where something happen fast and others take forever.
