      Pros

      Synoptek is a great place to work. The company has been in rapid growth mode and promoting like crazy within. They're invested in the employees and their success through Travel and Trains and their training and development program. With any company that goes through the growth that Synoptek has been through in the last three years' there are bound to people unhappy with changes in the organization and underperformers are let go. Synoptek recognizes the employees that are invested in the companies success and have put together programs and training to get everyone to the next level.

      Cons

      Lack of management in areas. There are may managers that work in remote locations and/or managers that work from home too much.

      Pros

      A lot of great people - in all departments. Many opportunities for growth and job development. Good benefits package, including 401k matching. Training & Bonus program is appealing. Fairly flexible and accommodating, somewhat dependent upon your department though.

      Cons

      Acquisitions can get overwhelming, especially when there isn't always clear direction or adequate time and investment in integration. Things are chaotic and confusing because of the constant and significant change going on all the time. Seems like a disconnect between upper management and many of the lower to mid-level employees.
