Pros

I was fortunate to have a manager that gave me as much rope as I needed throughout the years. So long as I was productive to our end goal, I was able to work on the projects I wanted to work on. The culture here is VERY friendly and inviting. There weren't many bad apples while I was working at Syntech. The owner very obviously cares a lot about all of the employees. They work hard to give people bonuses and raises. It seems they want to lift everyone else up with them and are available to talk with you at any time. In my years there, I saw at least five different interns get hired on with full-time jobs, which is also pretty awesome.

Cons

I don't have much of any cons. Maybe more comp time for overtime worked. I did work many hours over the standard 40 a week at times and didn't receive much time off for those hours worked. But all of the other places I've worked have been the same, so such is life in IT.

Pros

Very much recommended company in a way. They made me very happy twice and more. Once, I was so happy to get a job there. Another time, I had been in ecstasies for months since I walked out the door for the last. Recalling those days always make me feel happy for where I am now. They live in a very unique culture, which people may like, like a safe haven. In all means, people should try to keep it so. An advice to those who want to settle in somewhere quiet place: Understanding of the system is the key to success, and that is the ultimate and the only skill. Good Luck!

Cons

No cons, but may offer free lunch often.
