Pros

We have a close knit faculty in my department. Student rapport is good. Lovely campus, just outside the downtown area. Excellent Communications school.

Cons

Most positions in my department are covered by adjuncts, which means a high faculty turnover and poor compensation. Department underfunded, residing in unsuitable facilities.

Pros

Great benefits - tuition, healthcare, dental, gym access

Cons

Internal communication is horrendous. I've called departments who have sent me to other departments who send me to another office who then send me to the original office. Internal politics are also horrendous. And too many things are still done by paper. Also they tend to pay less than average because they offer such great benefits. Health insurance will not feed me. And parking is EXPENSIVE.

Cons

Terrible executive management. Nepotism is common and salaries are bloated the higher you go. They don't care about the people on the bottom who do the tough work. These people get paid to get paid.
