Outstanding group of young professionals. Hard-working, intelligent people seeking to do good things for the US military. Benefits and work-life balance are superb.

Cons

Making progress on DOD programs can be challenging when there are too many chefs in the agile software development kitchen.

Learn a lot but don't stay for too long

Pros

Lots of highly skilled coworkers. Great employees club. Great cantina. Helps and partially supports extra education. Are very large when people gets sick.

Cons

Promotions are rare and mostly based on luck because managers have no incentive to promote rather than just hire from the outside. Salary is below average for skill level and working hours. In some divisions people are moved a lot between projects. Likes generalists. Specializing is very hard.

very strict punctuality closed people monolithic application old app time pressure & tasks sad atmosphere judgment when you take a break people glued to the pc people 40+ strict schedule 21 days of leave/year
