Pros
At one time, this was the most amazing company to work for. They had great benefits and an outstanding company culture. The owners and executive team treated their staff with the highest regard. This culture proved to be very successful, because I have never seen so many people as passionate about a product or company in my life. It was truly a rare find, and a place I would have enjoyed working for the rest of my career. But apparently all good things come to an end.
Cons
When the company sold a majority share to a private equity firm, this all ended. While there were assurances to the staff that the investors weren't going to mess with the formula, there was nothing farther from the truth. The executive team started fading away, one by one, replaced by "leaders" who completely wrecked the company culture. This transformation took only about 6 months. What was once an energetic, vibrant, and exciting place to work was shifted into an environment of keeping your head down to avoid calling attention to yourself. People who had been there for years were miserable. Now, nearly three years later, the leadership team only has one or two people from the old T-System, replaced by people who are either too young or too dense to be effective leaders. There was a day I loved this company. It's a shame when the new regime can't embrace a positive culture and help take things to the next level.
