Great Industry, Great People, and Flexible Environment
Pros
Great Industry - healthcare IT is an area of great growth and innovation Great people - always willing to jump in and help Flexible environment - an understanding that an employee is not a human resource but a person with activities outside of work as well so schedule is fairly flexible and time off is not defined (take it when/if you need it) Significant leeway/independence on the technology side - the goal is a great solution to the problem; no predefined technical dogmas
Cons
The office space and the area right around the office building in Dallas are very nice - there's a pond, walking trail, places to eat nearby, etc. but traffic getting in and out can be hectic at times. They do allow working remotely some time every week so that helps.
