Pros

This organization is home to some amazing people. They foster a positive work environment with monthly birthday celebrations, Friday breakfasts during pay weeks, occasional catered holiday events, and employee bakery potlucks with games. Most managers genuinely care about their fellow associates and do their best within their means. During Christmas time, associates receive a $75 Amazon gift card, and leading up to the holiday, there are 12 days of prize giveaways for employees throughout the company. Despite the recent removal of certain benefits, such as concert tickets and sport event tickets, the organization remains committed to providing hybrid work options for most positions. Depending on your position level and department, you can enjoy the flexibility of working from home for 1-3 days per week.

Cons

You frequently feel like just a number, waiting for the next layoff to happen. The company's organizational changes are poorly communicated, often conveyed through short and unclear videos. When seeking additional details, you're directed to your manager, who often knows no more than you do. As a result, panic ensues within departments. The current pay is still below the market average and not competitive, leaving employees dissatisfied. Backfilling a position is a lengthy process that takes months to get final approval to post a job listing for rehiring. Consequently, departments are frequently understaffed and overburdened with work. Budget cuts are made without a full understanding of the actual needs, leading to further strain when entire departments are laid off, and outsourcing of those roles is not completed before the termination of the affected associates.
