Let go suddenly without a Performance Improvement Plan

Pros

Pretty good compensation overall. Fairly laid back atmosphere not too many strict deadlines to meet. Fairly good Senior Software developers overall.

Cons

You might be let go suddenly without Personal Improvement Plan. While they are a consulting agency with multiple projects expect to be working on one project for years. In need of an architect as the project I was working on used libraries that caused the project to only be buildable in VS 2015 and nothing later.

-Very off-putting mentality around what an employee is for -Pay, while decent, was out-competed fairly easily -Poor communication/coordination on large scale project; largely hands off -Some very difficult people on the team

Growing company with great potential

Pros

Fast paced stress-less atmosphere. This company is on the move and is going to grow is if you can handle the mechanics/nitty-gritty of a growing company, totally worth it. The IT team I worked on is building to get the right players in place. There are going to be a lot of opportunities if you are looking to lead and grow in your field. I met and worked with great people. You create your own environment.

Cons

Chairs. Better desk chairs.
