Pros

The company definitely supports flexible working arrangements. Most people work from home. A few contracts have teams working at the client site most of the time, but they may still get 1 day to work from home. We generally try to keep to core hours, but if you have something to do no one makes a big deal about it.

Cons

We get a stipend $2,500 to use toward training/professional development which is generally more than enough. But if the training happens during business hours, you’ll have to use PTO for the absence for flex your time somehow.

Thanks for your review. TCG practices a telework-first model where management prefers and advocates for staff to work from home. In fact, TCG had all staff working from home before coronavirus-related shutdown orders began in the DC metro area, and at this time our staff are still working from home.

Pros

Excellent work-life balance with top-notch benefits. TCG has also handled the COVID-19 response exceptionally. They value families and the changing situations that parents have had to go through since schools closed during the pandemic. I appreciate that TCG lives by its core values.

The impact of COVID-19 and shut down orders have turned the world upside down. Luckily, our existing practices and policies made it easy for us to pivot, accommodate everyone’s personal situation, and support the physical and mental health of TCGers.
