TCG actually lives up to it’s core values. They share their financials with employees every quarter, showing they are Fair, Honest, Open. You can email the CEO with a question and actually get not only an answer but something to back it up. If you want to switch projects, they work with you to try and make it happen. They believe in the people they hire and want to keep them. The perqs are the real deal. One small example, one of the biggest events in DC sports and the tickets went to someone who had been at TCG for a few months. They weren’t taken by some executive. If there is a perq they don’t have, let them know and they’ll work on it. The work life balance is unmatched. I have telecommuted since day 1.

Cons

Accruing vacation quicker but you can also purchase extra time if you need it early in your tenure.

TCG has a great culture in that it values collaboration, a healthy work/life balance, intelligence and investing in it employees. It is easy to navigate through the upper management and make yourself "heard." TCG also values diversity and encourages employees to think outside the box. Part time employees are valued just as much as those working full time. If there is a problem, it is addressed quickly.

I really can't think of anything.

We don’t like boxes. Always be, think, and do outside of the box. :) Unless it’s your birthday. In that case, boxes are fun.

Pros

TCG has an incredibly smart and supportive executive team. They directly exhibit the culture that can be seen throughout the organization. It is remarkable that this company has the business and process maturity of organizations 10/100x its size, while still retaining the operational agility and relationship closeness that is such a hallmark of well-run small businesses. The attention paid to the development of every associate is something I have not seen at any other place I've worked - small or large business.

Cons

Absolutely none. I couldn't be happier in my professional direction than I am at TCG.
