-management is utterly disrespectful and unqualified -PTO and paid holidays are a joke, PTO is only 10 days and a few paid holidays -bonuses are a joke unless you are part of upper level management (1-3%) which is typically classified as a cost of living increase at most companies, upper management however get $40k+/year in bonuses -they promise career advancement and give no proof on how to get to where you want to go -training was nonexistent

Local television at its worse... A lot of talk about innovation, but no direction on how to innovate. Corporate folks travel through local stations around the country giving aspirational speeches about how to do things differently- the moment they leave, the local stations are still being held accountable by old standards such as overnight news ratings. This makes local management fearful of trying to disrupt. Poor... just poor. They have cut staff to a minimal at the local level, and those that are left behind are young, underpaid staff, with little experience.
