      Big business all about the bottom line

      Pros

      Large company with many locations around the country so if you had to relocate it may be possible to stay within the company and not lose accrued vacation time. Always pushing the cutting edge of technology.

      Cons

      While they strive to be on the cutting edge of technology the transference of that knowledge and technology doesn't always reach to its many assets across the country. Lots of centralizing of services which can lead to a loss of employee feeling like individual and not just a number on a spreadsheet.

      Pros

      Good resources for any problem, lots of knowledge that is quick to be shared. Trend setter for doing things the right way versus competition.

      Cons

      Health benefits are costly for young employees at lower wage tiers. Very costly for family plans. Some of the new automation makes single point failures more likely with no one around to fix the issues.

      *All my coworkers are really enjoyable. There is certainly a sense of "team" here, and everyone is more than willing to help out. *TEGNA has a really bright future in Digital Media. *Leadership seems to always be looking to promote from within. *Pay is competitive

      Cons

      *Tegna is not yet a household name, but that should be changing in the next couple years as we continue to grow. *Still waiting to completely split from Gannett
