Pros

Thrive has built an incredibly smart and capable team of designers and creatives that made it exciting to come to work everyday. The responsibility that you get as a junior level employee, along with support and guidance from more senior colleagues, provides you the opportunity to grow exponentially. If you are a go-getter who thrives on collaboration and is willing to put in the work and make your goals known, you will do well here. Trent and Jon have done an amazing job building a strong culture that makes company outings and social events that much more fun. I will always think fondly of my Thrive family!

Cons

As a small firm, a lot is asked of everyone and you will need to wear many hats. This is great for some people who enjoy unique challenges that push them out of their comfort zone every once in a while. If you enjoy doing what you do best all the time, it may not be the place for you. However, you are rarely asked to go into something new alone, so while things may seem unknown and uncertain, you are able to work through the ambiguity as a team.

Pros

Multi-disciplinary and talented team that can tackle seemingly any challenge. They really place the customer and or end user first and advocate for them with a depth of rigor that I have never experienced anywhere else. You can really tell that they care about the work that they are doing. A few really talented and experienced managers are making a big difference in the culture.

Cons

Projects with challenging clients sometimes - not because they are difficult, but because they don’t always have the resources they need to do it right or carry the work forward to make a difference. It can be challenging to do great work and not see the results.
