Pros

Enjoyed the job, the pay seems fair and the time is flexible.

Cons

The company ethics are lacking. They will do everything behind your back and you won't know that the nice things you have been promised at a new hire call are no longer there.

You Don’t get micromanaged which is nice

Cons

You’ll have TIAG supervisors but the government lead is the end all be all because at the end of the day they want to renew contracts

Pros

Some of the management at The Informatics Applications Group does believe in hiring the "best and the brightest", allowing for those people to be exposed and shine on a variety of contracts. This allows for some tiag employees to gain valuable experience in new and perhaps interesting areas. Some employees at tiag are incredibly dedicated, intelligent, and willing to help others. Work schedules can be flexible, depending on the contract.

Cons

tiag often does not practice what they preach. The idea of a "tiag culture" is becoming lost to a culture focused on high profit margins and lack of visibility for your future. Management does not do a good job at offering performance evaluations, as employees often associate this with an increase in salary. They also do not do a good job of communicating their investment and commitment to you as an employee. Raises and promotions are not actively discussed. The company is quick to judge and openly voice their negative thoughts about their employees, which is disrespectful and disgusting.
