I was very excited to receive an offer and start working here. I left a good job for this role, only to find out very quickly that they have no regard for people and could care less how their decisions can directly have a catastrophic effect on peoples lives.
It is a tight knit management group at this plant. The majority of the management team has been there between 10 and 30 years. Fellow managers were friendly, but then were blamed for the decision to end my employment after just 5 days.
The GM was friendly and relatable during the interview, but was completely different once I started. On day 1, his lack of interaction, distance, and body language gave me the impression he did not want the change that was about to happen, and for whatever reason did not care much for me. Ultimately, accepting this position that initially was very excited about, has turned my life upside down and created a nightmare situation for me,
