      Great place to work and grow

      Pros

      Great, professional work environment. Good benefits. And plenty of opportunity to grow. I frequently see people getting promoted. People are great to work with and they care about their job and customers. Everyone gets along well. The senior management team is fair and professional, and wants to help people reach their goals.

      Cons

      I don't see any cons - the nature of property management (a people business) means sometimes you have to deal with folks who are upset - so you have to be a good customer service advocate.

      Good people, clear expectations, professional environment

      Pros

      The company has an open door policy that is the real deal and "straight talk" is highly supported and encouraged. Innovation, one of the core values, is taken very seriously...employees are encouraged to look at how they do what they do and if there are ways to improve, even if it isn't broken. Although it was lengthy, the recruitment process set realistic picture of the position and expectations while letting me get to know who I would be working with (peers and management). I've had great opportunties for growth since being here both in terms of title/duties as well as pushing outside my personal comfort zones to improve.

      Cons

      This may not be a con to everyone but the company is takes a lot of pride in being business professional and it takes some getting used to if coming from a more casual company. There are casual Friday's a TMG does lunch day that is business casual as well, which is nice.

While our recruitment process may be somewhat lengthier than at other companies, each step is in place to ensure that each candidate is a good fit for TMG, and that TMG is a good fit for the candidate. We are pleased to hear that it gave you an accurate representation of what it would be like to work at our company. At TMG, we believe that one of the ways we are able to provide such excellent customer service is due in part to our professional dress code. However, we also believe in having fun while we work; we have business casual Friday every week, and an additional casual day per month, where a catered lunch is provided.

      Good people to work with except for upper management

      Pros

      I got a lot of experience working there, everyone I directly worked with was helpful and friendly, and I never felt stressed out.

      Cons

      I felt like I had a lot of ideas I could never contribute because upper management simply didn't listen.
