Siloed, Antiquated, Unprofessional & Poorly Managed
Pros
1.Remote work allowed 2.Many good people 3.Hiring leadership from outside is bringing more professionism and sophistication, but it's an uphill battle
Cons
1. CEO rarely visible, true state and direction of company poorly understood by staff 2. All three sectors run as separate businesses, lack of collaboration between sectors and no repercussions for those who refuse to collaborate 3. Bad employee behavior tolerated, not addressed, to the detriment of others 4. 20 years behind with respect to industry practices (no true BD repository, files for same client on different servers/individual hard drives, no pre-execution kick-off calls to educate teams on assignments, most of staff lacking professional qualifications, lack of project management tools, etc) 5. Power held by senior managers who have been employed there for most of their careers, and their inner circles. These senior managers don't respect positional power, marginalizing others continuously without regard.
