Micro-management and horrible group leaders. HR is a joke to work with. Save yourself the trouble and work for another company.

Freedom to work outside the office.

Cons

TRC does not care about advancing individual workers. I’ve been here for years and still make about the same as I did when I started. They act like 50 cents is a significant raise when it’s not and make empty promises that never pan out.

Pros

Flexible working hours and location (office vs home). Diverse client list to expand experience.

Cons

-Poor insurance (Cigna-among worst I’ve experienced). Lost all in-network providers from Aetna despite the promise of them all being available once switched -Pay raises are not performance based. Previous years have been “cost of living” across the board so little incentive to continue busting my tail while other refuse to travel and perform basic job duties but receive same compensation increases. -Promotions are not performance-based either. Play golf with your supervisor-get promoted. Ask a question to your supervisor to understand what is going on and get suppressed into doing the same thing, which is less than when hired. -Little opportunity for training or career growth unless you are on the east coast. -Very minimal junior staff to use to staff field projects -Pay is not commensurate with experience -Every year bonus are promised to be higher than previous years, only to be frustratingly a few hundred dollars; while former colleagues are getting 10-20% of their salaries with the companies they work for. -Previous lay-offs and hour reductions done across regions despite how busy some offices were. While we were already low on staff to be able to staff projects our regional manager still got rid of people. -Offered to train staff to have more experienced personal able to perform certain tasks and was basically laughed at and further suppressed instead of embracing a motivated employee that wants to foster the career growth of others
