Super fun place to work. You get to get to be on the cutting edge of technology. You get to be first in productizing new things coming out of academia.

Cons

I just learned that TSI just sacked their most tenured and respected engineering director. Rob spent his entire career at TSI and his fingerprints touched every particle product that they've launched since the 80s. An entire generation of engineers and project managers were mentored by him. Rob is a wicked smart engineer, the best manager I have ever had - the gold standard by which I have compared all other engineers and managers. TSI's particle technology group will be a shell of what they once were without Rob. I have no idea why they would let him go, but I would guess that it has to do with the bottom line.
