Pros

I can tell that there is an emphasis on trying to create a good work culture. The onboarding was simple and they have a portal for new hires to refer to with all the information you need to what activities need to be completed and their suggested completion dates, to profiles of the people you will be directly working with. This is a well organized company. My direct supervisor's manager called me out of their day on my first day just to say hello and introduce themselves. It took 6 months at my previous job for that same position to reach out to me.

Cons

The background check is pretty rigorous - this is definitely not a con, but something to be patient about as mine came back about a week and a half from initiation.

Hello and thanks for providing us and the Glassdoor community your insights into your time with us so far. Now, more than ever, companies need to reinforce the positive culture and place a strong emphasis on nurturing a positive and healthy work environment for all of their employees — especially given the struggles we've all faced since the onset of the pandemic. We're thrilled to hear that your direct supervisor's manager called you to welcome aboard — we strongly encourage open and straightforward communication, after all, one of our core values is that real conversations are welcomed. We feel you about the background check, but we do make a point to hire the best and the brightest who are able to put our clients first and ensure things get done right the first time. Welcome aboard — we're thrilled to have you.

Pros

They offer unlimited vacation and are eager to get you into a full time roll with whatever company you are striving to be with. They are very easy going and make life a lot easier when having issues with employee development

Cons

They are Temp Company so holiday might not always be the same with the company you are working for.

Hello and thanks for providing us with some feedback on your short time with us so far. You've hit on a few highlights that our employees love — yes, we do have an Open Vacation policy — we trust our employees to complete their tasks and we also understand the strong need to provide all of our employees the opportunities to maintain a positive and healthy work/life balance, especially given the challenges we've all faced since the onset of the pandemic. One point of clarification though, we're not a temp company — we're an award-winning and customer-endorsed staffing and IT solutions company — we almost exclusively hire all employees as full-time W2 resources to fill our customers’ recruiting and staffing needs. This focus on the employee experience provides a greater sense of security for the employee, ensures our turnover rate stays low and results in greater resource consistency for our customers. Lastly, regarding your advice to management, it sounds as though there's an implication that an employee may not have been paid? If there's any discrepancy, we strongly suggest that employee reach out to Talent Management to ensure their information is up-to-date. Thanks again for your feedback and insights — we're encouraged for what the future will bring!

Pros

I have had a good first few weeks with the company. I cannot say the answer for everyone who is employed here but from my own view, so far it hasn't been hectic.

Cons

One con is that I have heard a few things in regards to moving up in the company and how that can be quite a problem if you are a younger person trying to move up.

Hello and thank you for providing us, as well as the Glassdoor community at large a concise overview of your time spent with us so far. We're glad to hear your first few weeks weren't chaotic — we do our best to spread the load and we know how serious burnout can negatively impact our employees. You mentioned that "you've heard" that moving up is a problem, in your few weeks with us, have you had much communication with your manager regarding career movement and advancements? We strongly suggest having direct and open conversations with your manager regarding both your expectations as well as aspirations for your future with the company. With the wealth of opportunities for free learning provided through our Rockstar U, there's ample opportunity to learn new skills that can help elevate and advance your position as time progresses. Again, we always encourage our employees to have open and straightforward and constant communications with their managers. Thank you for your efforts thus far — we're genuinely excited for the future!
