Tableau has a great atmosphere and company culture. The resources of a large company but the feeling of a tech start-up, its win-win. Our team is very young and everyone has different skills that they bring to the company. This fosters a feeling of information-sharing that I think it really unique. I feel like I learn something new every day, and I'm constantly amazed by my peers. The company itself places a huge emphasis on personal development and training so you can really focus on what you want to achieve here. Good horizontal and/or vertical movement within the company, with a lot of support from management. Good mix of value of individual achievement as well as team success.
Cons
Gaining weight from all the free food in the kitchen! Working at Tableau can be very fast-paced as its in a high-growth phase. Be prepared to ramp quickly and take on responsibilities when joining.
