Pros
– Dynamic Environment (Despite a moderate amount of repetitive tasks, you can always start/ find & support initiatives that will keep you excited about your job and help you develop both professionally & personally; – Healthy Culture (It's a 'no bigger table' type of culture, where regardless of your background and job title you can always approach anyone and chat about anything, whether it's a business idea or a private matter. There are a few hundred people in EMEA, and everyone is very close and supportive); – Great Technology. (The ambition of the company is to power the recommendations across multiple digital properties, even those outside the open web; I think this ambition matches the reality well. Been around long enough and still impressed with the amount of tech developments going on and the level of research market research that's put in it)
Cons
– As the company grows, and the structure becomes more complex, certain processes take longer than they used to. The start up has gradually transformed into a scale up, so the new reality may be harder to accept for someone who is used to decisions being made faster; – Depending on a market, hours can be long. Better brush up on your time-management skills, as there's always something to do unless you have a clear prioritisation matrix in place.
