      nice people and office autonomy in your work

      Cons

      managers need training most employees are unhappy about compensation not much career growth - you only really get promoted if you're a "favorite" senior management pretty much just cares about money money money, but most employees will never see any of it

      Extravagant spend on office snacks beverages, decorations and parties

      Cons

      People are cliquey and not very nice. It's common for managers to have favorites, & play favorites. Culture feels unwelcoming and fratty. Some upper management members are rude and not approachable at all - they claim to have start up culture and environment, don't buy into that. Pay is low and reasonable negotiation regarding increase in pay is frequently met with rejection from managers for random reasons. Company brand is associated heavily with being click baits, outlets of fake news. Company works with questionable publishers and advertisers - no standard as long as there's $.
