Pros

Dogs in the office, regular social events, free breakfast and snacks. Amazing colleagues you can learn a lot from. Work was varied and challenging at times.

Cons

Micro management, limited career progression opportunities, low pay compared to similar roles at other companies.

Pros

The open and candid culture, and the brilliant (smart and fun!) team. The pace of change of growth of the business and the opportunity to grow and develop within your role, and to take on more responsibility

Cons

The pace of change can be both overwhelmingly fast (so many things to deliver with pace), and frustratingly slow (constrained resource - we can't do everything we want in the timescale we'd prefer)

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and feedback - we’re so happy to have you as a part of our team. It can be challenging to find the balance when a business is growing as quickly as tails.com is. That makes it even more important for us to take on board regular feedback across the team as we all aim to live our values and make each day count! Thank you for all your hard work with us. Pros

- Getting to be part of a company doing something truly significant. Check out tails.com's TrustPilot score and reviews for an unvarnished view of what customers think... - Supportive environment, where learning from setbacks takes precedence over finger pointing or blame allocation. This is refreshing. - Super smart and capable team, ready to challenge received wisdom and find new ways of achieving ambitious targets - Great place to work if you have a dog - quite a few in the office on a regular basis which makes for a fun environment - Richmond is a beautiful place to work away from the bustle of the city centre but with a great selection of shops and eateries (Pret, Leon, Whole Foods, Itsu, Cafe Nero, M&S, Tesco etc within 1 minute of the office) and the river and parks on your doorstep

Cons

- There's more to this than meets the eye - it takes time to get your head around the intricacies of this business. While this can be challenging sometimes, it's also super rewarding to work across teams to take something from idea to reality - Great efforts are made to integrate the wider team which is spread across two sites - this is to be highly commended, though the reality of working across multiple sites can be logistically difficult sometimes (depending on your role and whether you need to deal with people at "the other location" on a regular basis). Not sure how you solve this, just observing it can sometimes be tricky.
