Pros

The pros of working at Tapingo are the people you will meet, the office environment, and company culture. It's a start-up so it's young and fun, and there are monthly events that occur for the employees. I was fortunate to get a great boss who taught me everything I know at this point and was a great reference for me moving forward. Work at Tapingo for the people, not the company or its goals.

Cons

Where to start... the company has poor upper leadership, unable to make strategic business decisions and be assertive. Daniel, the CEO, is soft-spoken, not necessarily the best characteristic for someone who is the head of a company for college students. My role changed upwards of three times throughout my time at Tapingo and I never knew when all of the work I had just spent on a particular project would be uprooted and tossed in the trash. The problem with this company mainly is that there is a lot of competition who does the job better, more efficiently, and uses better marketing tactics (i.e. UberEATS, Grubhub, Postmates, Doordash, etc.). Tapingo thinks it's acceptable to send out cartoons to college students and thinks that's going to get them to use the app. Their marketing and analytics is a complete joke. Grow up, realize that college students are a lot smarter these days, and take a minute to actually think about where you want the company to go so that you don't have to lay off the internal people within. A company is nothing without its people and a high turnover rate is never a good sign of a healthy company.

Pros

You can choose when you want to work. I don't see any other pros because they don't even pay an hourly wage only commissions per order you do

Cons

1. Pay is 1.50 an hour plus commissions of $3 per order. (Worst pay in the industry) 2. Since they stopped using slack there is no one to help you. If you contact higher ups only way is email and they take hours to reply 3. They don't care about their couriers 4. Worst management I have ever worked under 5. You can make more money selling plasma 6. Not worth it on gas and wear and tear on your car

Pros

It's not often that you find a group of people so inspired by the product that they're working on, driven to change every day behavior, and love working with each other, that work doesn't feel like work. That's what working at Tapingo is like. The company is filled with creative freedom, entrepreneurial spirit, and collaboration. People love solving problems and making a difference in the lives of our users. The team is from all over the country/world. We have athletes, karaoke experts, and former board game champions. It's just a great group of smart, diverse folks. A really fun place to work.

Cons

Like every start-up we're learning as we go. So you should be ready to operate in a world where things aren't always defined and to help build out the team and future of the company.
