- When you get hired they have you fill out an availability sheet saying how many hours you want to work and the time + days that your available to work. I filled out my sheet saying I want to work Full time, 40 hours a week, and im available any time and every day but I never get scheduled more than 32 hours a week. The job ad when I applied for the job said it was a Full time position too but I never get 40 hours. - Managers and leads try to rush you when your working in inbound to unload trucks and they dont have A/C or fans in the area where you unload the trucks so there were days when I went home like if I took a sweat bath or like if I just came from an intense gym workout. After you finish unloading everything off the trucks (usually 1-2 trucks per shift) you will be sent to a department to take stuff off the pallets and put them where they go on the different aisles. - Some managers and leads were nice and supportive while other managers and leads were always trying to rush me to finish quicker, put me to do a bunch of work by myself without help when everyone else got help, and then they would ask me to go help other departments when I finish my assigned work. I dont know maybe they like to push people that they see as hard workers harder than others? - I always got the sense that they were trying to rush me to finish faster because they didnt want to give anyone 40 hours a week so they try to make you do 40 hours worth of work in the 32 hours or so that they schedule you per week. - The company culture is kinda scary, their big into protecting the protected groups (LBTGQ+ and BLM) so you can get accused of being racist or hate speech for making a joke that someone didnt like or if someone thinks that your looking at them funny and they can make a report against you that could possibly get you in trouble so the atmosphere is kinda tense when I worked there. If your not part of a protected group its easy for people who are part of a protected group to hold that fact over you as an advantage in their favor. - I noticed a few clicks (groups of people that are always hanging out together) while I worked there, I tried to make friends with some of them to be friendly around co-workers but some of them felt like they werent too friendly, their probably used to seeing employees come and go frequently with the company because while I worked there I often saw new hires that didnt lasts 1-2 weeks after getting hired. - I always stayed quiet and just did my work that I was supposed to but I still came across people with attitudes sometimes when they sent me to help other people and they didnt like the way that I was trying to help them with their departments.
