Pros

TV offers good benefits, especially the PTO policy, and a cool, young company culture. I had the opportunity to meet some amazing colleagues with whom I still maintain contact. While the workload can be demanding during peak seasons, the experience gained is highly valuable and significantly enhances your resume.

Cons

While I appreciated my daily interactions with colleagues, the work environment was challenging due to inconsistent and unclear feedback from management. The position saw a 1-2 year turnover, which I believe was influenced by limited growth opportunities and unclear expectations. There were discrepancies in feedback; praise from one manager contrasted with criticism from another, making it difficult to gauge performance. Additionally, the communication during one-on-one meetings often lacked clarity and actionable advice. Despite these challenges, the experience gained in this role was valuable and contributed significantly to my career development. Unfortunately, the potential of this role was overshadowed by the poor management practices.

Pros

Community is great and people are very welcoming. I have not been fired and I am not a disgruntled employee like everyone else who writes these

Cons

Room for growth is extremely limited. Pay is extremely low no matter how hard you work. Higher ups pocket a ton of the money for doing menial work

Pros

If you're looking to get into moderate conservative politics, this would be the place. Has decent benefits and a good work/life balance depending on the team.

Cons

It's a typical campaign job though... layoffs happen quite often after the election cycle.
