Pros

Pays well. Their effort to look well is visible. The employees give the place a team energy. Good place to work.

Cons

Their imagery is top priority and because of it they neglect other aspects of their operations and growth. Poorly planned expansion.

We take the commitment to our people seriously and understand your desire for the right structure for the business. Part of our commitment to continually improving as a World Class Manufacturing operation is to support people with the right strategy and business organization design. Within the past year and a half (prior to Covid) Dalton experienced the change of integrating our newest acquisition (Lexmark). As we settle in our structure, we invite you to share with your HR or leadership team any ideas or solutions that may help us be better as a team. Thank you for commenting and sharing your feedback.

Pros

Pay was decent. The good people are on the floor, getting it done when they can get management out of the way.

Cons

The "Good Old Boy" management doesn't want to change anything for the better but says they do. If you point out problems, they will lie or hide the real truth, then put it back on you. They don't care about safety and cut corners to save money or time. They run good people off because they make the Good Old Boys look bad.

We are disappointed to hear you had an experience that seems to be contrary to the core values we esteem (Committed, Caring, Creative and Collaborative). While there isn't any wholesale "house cleaning" happening, we are continually reviewing individual performance and supporting leaders where development is needed. As a whole, Tarkett N.A. is focused and intent on developing internally and hiring talent who demonstrate leadership that is inspiring, accomplished and focused on leading by example (i.e. servant leadership). We agree with you that "good old boy" style of leadership is not inclusive or desireable. We are excited about the leaders coming into our company and offer many avenues for our leaders to develop through direct feedback (including employee surveying, new manager assimilation training, focus groups, skip-level meetings, 360 Feedback and other organizational development tools and principles). Thank you for submitting a review and we hope your career path finds you in a place that is a better fit for you.
