Pros

I feel Tavant is good place for 2-3 yrs exp folks. Also observed Testing team is getting lot of training and overall a good place for testers to learn and grow.

Cons

Experienced resources in happening Technologies can avoid Tavant at the current situation. More managers and less Techies. Very poor vision for expansion.

Pros

Excellent top level management and salary on time

Cons

With a lot of dream and expectations (after reading the reviews), I joined this company. The top management in the (Consumer Lending and Manufacturing) are fine...the problem is with the project managers. Here is the extremely honest review: Basically, the so called Project managers is not aware of anything in the project. They act as dictators (Thuglaq's). They insult employees to the peak in front of everyone. Not because the team members aren't able to work, but employees do not work slogging everyday and on weekends. With all due to respect, how dare them to talk such cheaply and insult? Its a straight question - Why are project managers not being practical, knowledgeble and proffessional? Why are they so undignified? why do you want to insult people? Why do you always - always push people to slog everyday and on weekends? Why do you have 0% of project knowledge that your part of from the initial stage? Prove my comments are wrong. I challenge you. This is a COVID situation, people are falling ill, respect when people are ill..when people say they are ill and unhealthy, you want to make fun of it, insult them and ensure project job is done? What if you get sick and when you take leaves? Are you guys so stone hearted? why? Maintain some proffesionalism and ethics, sometimes atleast, clients are able to understand that "very rarely" deliverables are little late due to current situation. How can project managers expect employees to work when they are sick? Managers are with experience of 10 or 15 years. Gain some knowledge on what you are working on. Not just insulting your team members and just gaining the updates. HR team talks about S&H - you say policies exist. Genuinely can you take anonymous suverys and listen to the employees? Tavant is giving a daily bread for me. I do not want to just fake few things here.

Pros

Job security for decent performers. Decent infra

Cons

I am a former employee of Tavant. Tavant was a good company in the past but not anymore. I joined tavant as a fresher, my notice period was 6 months for the 1st 3 years and 2 months after 3 years. Notice period of 6 months is unjustifiable. I made my plans to move to a different company as I saw there was not enough learning for me and I had to serve the complete 6 months of notice period. Recently one of my batch mate from tavant told me that he got a mail from the HR saying that their notice period have been increased to 3 months. That's insane, how could a company not value the agreement made to the employee. They are justifying this decision by saying there's a pandemic going on.
