Pay is “fair,” but still not as good as most competitors

Cons

Work life balance is horrendous unless you’re in management. Expect to never be able to take PTO for more than 2-3 days without having to work double or triple time for at least 1 week or fall behind and end up in lots of trouble. Also when on PTO you are REQUIRED to answer your company cellphone calls/texts/emails on your company phone the entire time unless you’re a manager that does not have to build or carry any amount of houses. This is mandatory and I was written up for turning off my work cell while on PTO.

Great company culture, You can tell they put a lot of time and effort into showing appreciation for the employees. Great leadership. I had a manageable work load and learned something new every day. I loved working with my team and had a fantastic boss.

Cons

Some of the managers should not be managers (it's not for everyone)
