      Pros

      I have been working at Outbrain for almost 8 years and in this time have grown and learned so much! Some of the pros of Outbrain are: the amazing people, the togetherness of the teams, the people-centric strategies, approachable leadership, the culture, the importance put on work-life balance. There have been many posts here mentioning the taking away of benefits this year, but they fail to mention the extra 3 vacation days we were given, the Winter break (where the whole company shuts down over the holidays) and work from anywhere policy, which were great additions.

      Cons

      As we have grown, decision making has become slower. There are however concerted efforts, as leadership is aware of this, to improve this and empower decision making, so hoping this will improve. We IPO'd in 2021 and being a public company is not for all.

We agree the people at Outbrain make it a really great place to work and we try to focus on initiatives that help foster that culture. Regards your feedback on decision making - yes as we have grown and become a public company we acknowledge some processes may have changed and sometimes can become frustrating. - this was definitely feedback that came out of our recent Engagement survey. Leadership does have an action plan and we hope to make improvements.

      Pros

      Currently none, except young team members with great vision

      Cons

      In the last year, 20% real restructuring of the company, increased workload, chaotic workflow, no annual reviews, no benefits, robotic mentality, we don't have any people culture anymore, if you are not in sales and top management, you don't have any bonuses. It's a real shame because when I joined I had great aspirations of it, but unfortunately, it's worse day by day
