Pros

Most people here are nice. The company being full remote is a nice plus. The culture used to be good before multiple rounds of layoffs killed it.

Cons

The pay is low and not competitive with other companies in the area. Benefits are also sub-par with no 401k matching. Dev teams are seriously understaffed, so demands are high. The company can't afford to do better because customer turnover is high due to an inferior product. The company promised an IPO years ago and has no plans to now, so options are worthless. They actually had to cut the exercise price because of how much value they lost.

Pros

Engineering team is really good and collaborative with good ownership across the applications it supports.

Cons

There’s been modernizations efforts but there’s still a long way to go. Several legacy applications to support. Work becomes really stressful most of the time. A lot of overtime needed.
