Pros

If you want sales training, this is the place to be. You will learn the ins and outs to get you ready for a real career.

Cons

It is possible to thrive at TechniPower. For that to be the case, you must be motivated strictly by money. Do not expect to have an opinion, get any respect, or any relief from being told to do more, because even the more will not be enough. They will attempt to drive you by fear, instead of earning the respect of their staff. The base is not enough to even live on.. You can make good money, but that usually comes after at least a year of scraping your way on to the higher commission structure. Half of upper management does nothing while the other half is so swamped doing the jobs of others and their own. It does not seem to matter how many people express their concern about the same problems, the owner knows best. TechniPower is a good decade behind in technology, practices, and resources.. Comical as we place technical people on a daily basis. And if you are a great employee, you will become so over worked from more duties being piled on you as others are left to slack off. You will quickly learn that the stress of this environment is not even close to worth the paycheck you get each week. Do not jump aboard a sinking ship.

Don't do it to yourself...seriously.

Pros

Hard to pitch a pro when there is likely a con to follow. Depending on territory, manager and your personal will to succeed, you can close deals within your first few weeks out of training. Or suck up and you'll be there for life, deserving or not. You can also sleep, relive your youth, and not pick up the phone all day. Management lets you get away with anything. Out of sight, out of mind.

Cons

The corporate culture makes a middle school look like a company worth taking seriously. Rude, backstabbing, and lies. Even in the interview. Trust yourself and nobody else. They sell you bull, you bite and you'll be gone within a year. No matter the effort put in. Fake in general. Had me fooled. It is a revolving door.
