Pros

Tons of events People are light hearted for the most part. Work with the community Outlook can be promising, but depends on several factors that are not in everyone’s favor

Cons

- Some management is clique-ish and heavy on gaslighting to protect friends. - Racial/political insensitivity - Pay and base salary doesn’t match the work requirements.

Thank you for the feedback. We appreciate your recognition of the work we do in the community. It is an honor to be able to do so. Our focus is to improve life, one job at a time and we do not tolerate any acts that would contradict that. TechniPower has a rich history of long-term success with currently some of the highest compensated professionals in the industry. Our current staff is the most tenured career professionals since the inception of the company back in 1978.

Pros

Supposedly comprised of good people (cannot confirm). COO though is a great guy; very charitable.

Cons

To say this company is behind the times would be a VAST understatement. Even the building out of which it operates is one of the most dated buildings in which you will ever have the displeasure of walking. They use an unbelievably outdated ATS/database. I've seen some horrible ATS' in my day, but the one they use is BY FAR the worst. The UI on this ATS looks as if it was developed in 1985 and never updated, yet they claim to be all about new technology. To further illistrate how behind the times this place is, most everyone in this company use hard copies and hand writes everything; it's unreal. The people keep track of candidates they called by physically writing them down! Whenever you need to make more sheets, you have to make copies. Copies! These folks are still making copies of blank forms like it was done in the 90s. Also, whenever a new job order is released recruiters write the applicable information on a physical job order form. This place is big on paper forms completely not realizing that all this information could be stored digitally. I will give credit where it is due though: they now have a VoIP phone system. I have no idea why they did not already have one, but I at least have to give them credit for updating the phones. Also the pay....if you're an experienced recruiter, the pay is just insulting. I unwisely agreed to it but only because I was leaving after three months anyway. If you have more than two years of experience, it's much better to just wait for the next opportunity instead of accepting this. You never really know where you stand with management either; not the most communicative group of individuals by any stretch of the imagination.
