      Supportive social activities and healthcare, but toxic leadership and culture

      Pros

      Social activities, collaborative environment, bonuses, opportunities to manage/elevate career, free healthcare, company goals transparency, paid overtime, training and technical forums, etc.

      Cons

      Inconsistent/unclear leadership expectations, 4+ years to vest, lack of support on client issues, lack of leadership technical expertise, expectations to overwork and make up all leave for revenue goals, no work-life balance support, not family friendly, lack of diversity, extreme micromanaging, expectations to carry company capabilities forward but inconsistent alignment with leadership vision(s), favoritism, inconsistent corporate policies that constantly change, minimal telework policy, stringent in-office expectations, toxic environment.

      Pros

      Technomics is employee owned, so profits are shared by employees and not by outside stakeholders. This incentivizes hard work and guides management policy. Technomics offers extensive learning resources including internal training, external training from leading sources such as edx, and ad hoc certifications from organizations such as ICEAA. Technomics also continues to be open and flexible to accommodating training requests from new sources. Hard work is rewarded with good benefits, OT pay, and bonuses.

      Cons

      If you want to work remotely, this isn’t the place for you. Working in consulting means you are billable to clients and should not expect to only be in the office from 9-5 each day. Being directly reportable to important government offices and functions means work must be held to very high standards. Managers aren’t always the best, but there are many good resources. Change is relatively fast, but being newer to the work, it may take more than a year for certain types of structural change to be fully realized

      Pros

      Great place to sharpen skills. Heavy focus on business development. Excellent pay and benefits (above average vacation, and overtime pay). Top-notch support to top-notch customers

      Cons

      There are some growing pains associated with the growth that we have experienced over the last few years; however, management is cognizant of that. They are working to improve internal structures, and reorganize to address the issues exposed by our growth.
