Pros

Decent benefits, company is passionate about its field of work, recent hiring of a new president and turnover of HR leadership sounds like it has been a positive step forward.

Cons

Horrible company culture fostered by upper management. Bad mouthing and undermining of coworkers for personal gain was tolerated and encouraged. Disagreeing views on company policy were encouraged but resulted in punishment if you spoke up. Incompetent people were kept in upper management for far too long. Favoritism is played towards anyone who attended a particular university.

As an employee who has worked on many different projects, employees really work hard as a team to deliver high quality services. The company has high expectations of itself, its leadership, and its employees. The company appears committed to continue to grow which hopefully will continue to provide opportunities for more responsibility. Overall good culture, fun people, and a great place to work.

Cons

You have to be willing to be open to change, and understand its a necessity to try and remain as a provider of choice for government services support. The company is much different now then when I first started as they have tried to put more structure in place to support the growth. Some employees who I was close to left after more was asked of them in helping support corporate growth.

Legitimate attempt to on-board junior (and senior) colleagues new to the firm. Salary is decent

Cons

Middle-school politics all day, every day. Sniping at colleagues is encouraged by HR and senior management. HR likes to bully and browbeat employees. Shady management practices. Power struggles in upper management. Stressful, petty, low-trust environment.
