      Pros

      The Tektronix group at the corporate headquarters in Beaverton, OR is a great group to work for. Strong management, beautiful campus.

      Cons

      Our division, Sypris Test and Measurement was taken over by Tektronix. Management is disorganized, potential for growth is limited and communication within the organization regarding the many changes that occured during the transition was minimal.

      Pros

      get to work on high tech products learn DBS (Toyota Production System, TQC) good people to work with generally collaborative atmosphere

      Cons

      Acquisition by Danaher, an industrial products company, in 2007 has had many downsides for employees. Danaher does not understand how to manage a high-tech company -- treats employees and suppliers like interchangable commodities. You can learn a lot here, but keep your resume current.
