Flexible schedule; laid-back culture; good people - almost like a family; opportunities to be creative in your work - finding a better way to do something is rewarded; great facilities / campus - Starbucks, gym, artificial grass field, track, beach volleyball courts, basketball court all on campus; job rotation

Cons

Slow advancement, complacent - feeling of contentment amongst the employees, can be difficult to stand out; breadth of projects / work is slim, monotonous work with little day-to-day variation

Pros

For the most part, Tektronix has a friendly work environment. Most people are honest, hard-working team players. Tek usually offers above-average pay and fairly good health/dental/vision plans.

Cons

Management is in such a hurry to get new products out the door, they don't give the engineers enough time to do the job right anymore. A lot of good engineers have left the company, because they're tired of putting out crappy products that could have been really great. Also, if you're not a "professional" (i.e. marketing manager, engineer, or program manager), management isn't that interested in helping you further your education or career goals.
