Pros

Location, overtime opportunities, easy job. Have your own desk. Has a gym and free coffee. Plenty of space in breakroom. Good variety of items to buy in the company kitchen.

Cons

Feels like I'm back in high school. Co workers arguing with each other over minor issues. Gossiping is at an all time high. Was promised so much during training and turned out to be lies. It's all about who you know or who you have relations with, in order to advance. It's not a very positive environment. You have to have a supervisor to print out your check stubs. The only time you have access to stubs is while you're at work.

Pros

A very non-corporate company! One of the things that makes it special is that business units work separately and autonomously with full power and resources to execute... this boosts innovation, creativity and sense of self-control It squashes much of the red tape and corporate politics that can be found in most companies this size

Cons

You're expected to work like in a startup (long hours, weekends) but without the potential exit-scenario of a startup

Pros

Decent benefits although they cancelled all my stock options when I left.

Cons

I would advise anyone seeking a job at Teladoc to be very wary. I was basically sold a bill of good when I came on in 2014. "Great product, dominant market position that was leading the way as a pioneer in healthcare." I came to find this could not have been further from the truth. I was selling a call connection service to companies at rates way above those of competitors. The pressure to drive users was overwhelming and reckless. I was forced to make promises that I knew were never going to be met. Then when the lofty goals were not met, it was my fault. I would describe management as frantic, irrational and deceptive.
