      Incompetent Upper Managers - CFO left after 5 months-think about that...CFO left in short period of time

      Pros

      Stocks - if you can last 1 year Flexible time off - if you have a decent manager that won't penalize you for wanting and take time off

      Cons

      Nepotism is rampant in this company Alot of back stabbing in this company - you have to watch your back Your manager will throw you under the bus in order to achieve their bonuses and raises No accountability People will tell you one thing and do another, specifically managers, leaving you to take the fall gaslighting - seriously a manager will tell you one thing and then make you think you are crazy when you bring up the scenario. And upper management pushes this down. So always have back-up notes and emails and calendar invites. Constant, constant, constant making sure you are covering yourself with documentation.

      A house of cards on the verge of collapse

      Pros

      There are some professional people in the lower ranks of the company but turnover has been high recently so this is unfortunately changing for the worse.

      Cons

      Management will go to any length to manipulate financial reporting to make things appear better here than they really are. This “creativity” includes accounting for revenue, calculation of direct expense/ gross margin and customer growth and churn rates among other things. My colleagues in sales are struggling to renew agreements even on lower fee terms. Technology supporting our service is a hodgepodge of outdated components “borrowed” from competitors. Customer data is not secure, standards are loose and controls are nearly nonexistent. It is appalling to me that these things continue to go on here.

      C suite needs house cleaning

      Pros

      The people who get work done are amazing to work with - some of the best!

      Cons

      The job position I applied for, and received, was never what I was asked to do. This was a bait and switch hiring tactic - hire low and be asked to perform the role of three different functions. Set up for failure. There are some in the C suite who cannot recognize good work because it would crush their ego. I didn't see any company-espoused values being practiced well.
