If you're a lab worker, unlimited PTO isn't unlimited as only one person per team can be out of office. So if you're on a team with 20+ people, good luck trying to get a day off. No 401k matching. Management throws a lot of work at you while changing your workflow with minimal or no notice. Lack of support from management and their expectations from you are constantly changing. Don't work on any PreAnalytics teams (Accessioning, Order Processing, or Returns) as the upper management in that department is really bad and unsupportive. Also, at least in PreAnalytics, there's scheduled breaks and lunches -- so you have a "lunch time" like elementary school. You're guilted by your superiors to stay late, so work/life balance is bad.

If you work in the pre analytics team (order processing, returns, accessioning) or lab in general the management is the worst. Pay is low, they don't negotiate pay and don't match pay to the current rates.
