Pros
-Free snacks and drinks (including a small cafe!) throughout the work day. -Lots of freedom in the company, you don't have to sit down at your desk or anything, you can work anywhere you want in the building. (There's also some very neat places.) -Culture at the company. Feels very encouraging and doesn't feel like there's a chip on your back.
Cons
-Pay. Despite raising over a billion dollars in funding and some sectors of the company experiencing triple digit growth, no pay raises or bonuses were given. The pay for the company is almost insultingly low. -Accountability. It is entirely possible to work an entire day doing below the bare minimum, which causes issues for the entire team. -Benefits are pretty bad. No 401k match, very little opportunity for overtime when needed (despite being told otherwise). Unlimited PTO is not unlimited for lab workers, and shift differentials are next to nothing.
